Carolin Soldo – 10 High Performance Habits That Changed My Life

Hi there. My name is Carolyn solar and why come back to my channel with the most powerful business scaling strategies for your powerhouse business? Today I want to talk to you about your habits and potentially replacing some not so good habits with better habits that will make you feel healthier, more powerful, more efficient, more happy in your business and your personal life as well. I love thinking big, pushing boundaries and doing things differently. Most of all, I’m all about achieving massive growth with ease and how can you scale your business by living the life you love?

Let’s go. We are a result of our habits. Our habits drive the actions we take, how we perform, even how we think. Our habits have a lot to do with the results we experience in our day to day lives in our work. In our business, even in our personal lives, in our relationships. So looking at your habits is a really important thing for you to do in order to optimize your performance and in order to really fulfill your full potential and rise to your full potential as well. Over the years, I’ve adopted several really important habits that allow me to perform at my max and consistently grow, contribute more, have more success, and also feel happier at the same time. And today I want to share with you what these habits are and encourage you to maybe adopt some of them yourself. The first habit I want to share with you is one that drives my schedule and when I get up, I’ve noticed that when I get up early that’s at four 30 every single day.

Even on the weekends I get a lot more done and my body is ready and primed for performing and being really, really efficient throughout the day. It also allows me to set aside some really important time for myself in the morning so that I get to a workout, I get to meditate and I get to really take care of myself. So become an early riser. Think about how you can adjust your clock, your body clock, and get up earlier in the morning so that you can get more done. Having number two is to work out for at least 30 minutes every single day. This habit is easily achieved when you’re wake up earlier every single day. So what I do is I get up and the first thing I do literally is my workout. I go spinning, I go for avant and like sweating. I like you toxing and that’s when I get it in.

Other people might take some time during lunch, maybe were express for you at night, but I will let is built that into your schedule to make sure you get your daily exercise. Having number three is a little bit different. It has to do with your mindset and that is to take full responsibility for your happiness. When I began to take full responsibility of my happiness and how I feel versus expecting other people to make me happy, other people to do things for me in order for me to feel great, things changed drastically. When you met the expectations that you have with other people, truly go and you realize that it’s your job first and foremost, to feel happy and to put yourself into a powerful state. Then you can take charge. Then you can show up as the leader of the business owner, the mom, the parent, the love or the whatever you need to be and fully step into your max potential.

Hybrid. Number four is to protect your mind. Especially right now during these busy times, it’s really important that you realize what actually entrusts your mind. What are you listening to? What are you watching? Who are you listening to? Where are your thoughts and who are you learning from? Because your focus is your life and what you focus on will become your reality. Your focus determines how you feel. The decisions you make, the actions you take it everything in your entire life. Take inventory of your mind today and see what has been influencing you and how you can better protect your mind so you can take charge of your life. Having a number of five has to do with your nutrition. Over the last 10 years, I went from weighing over 200 pounds to weighing between 120 and 130 pounds and I was able to do that by slowly adjusting my nutrition.

Not by dieting, not by restricting, but by following two key habits. Habit number one has everything to do with eliminating sugar. Sugar is something that causes cravings or causes swings in your energy that can be bad for your skin, that has a lot of negative impact on how you perform every single day. So when I eliminated sugar and I still have sugar here and there, once in a while, a cookie or a little bit of ice cream, but not every single day, I noticed that I was able to maintain my focus, my mental focus, as well as my physical energy really evenly throughout my day and less tired. I am more energized and I have a much healthier body. The next habit that has to do with your nutrition is meat. Now I know I might be talking to someone who loves me. Maybe you already a vegetarian or maybe a vegan.

There are so many different things out there nowadays, but I personally have experienced my digestion improving tremendously when I began to eat less meat. That includes chicken, that includes pork, that includes beef. Fish is a little bit different. My digestion actually works really well and I eat fish, but I would like to really draw your attention to how your body reacts when you eat a lot of meat. Not to say that meat is bad, but it might be hard for your body to digest it. It may take longer and it may make you feel sluggish and lethargic and lucky you need to sleep. So take a look at your nutrition, what you’re eating every single day, and consider potentially reducing the amount of meat that you’re eating to give your body a little bit of a break. The next habit that literally changed my life is meditation.

And to me, I had to really learn to appreciate meditation and to feel its benefit because in the beginning it was really hard for me to calm my mind and to even get anything out of it. So I used the techniques and tools and apps and sound and all the different things you can do and nowadays I have the habit of meditating every single day for 25 minutes at least, and I can tell a major difference in how I feel and how calm, happy and focused I am every single day. To me meditation is like a spa for your mind. It’s like giving your mind a break and say mind you can calm down, you can let go of these thoughts and you can actually take a break and it will make a tremendous impact on YouTube. If you just give it some time for maybe a month or so, meditate daily, even if it’s just 10 minutes and you will see the benefits of meditation as well.

The next habit is to have a plan. It’s a plan for your business, a plan for your life, and in what you would like to accomplish next. There are so many people, business people, professionals, anybody really that have no plan, and when you ask them what they would like to accomplish, they simply don’t know. And to me that’s like steering a ship without a destination driving down the street without knowing where you’re actually going and you’re wasting precious time because when you have a goal, there are several things that happen. First of all, you get really, really excited about what you want to accomplish because you can visualize and see this goal become your reality. Secondly, you can hold yourself accountable because you can reverse engineer your goal, backtrack it, set projects and milestones and deadlines, and therefore know that you’re actually making progress towards your goal.

So it keeps you accountable. It makes you achieve a lot more, and it keeps you focused and happy and excited about the steps you’re taking every single day. The next habit is to watch less TV. Watching less TV will have several effects on you, but maybe the most important one is that it will eliminate noise. It will eliminate thoughts and ideas and influences that are not really good for you at any point time. So you watch what you’re watching when you’re watching and how much TV you’re watching. Okay? For me, that’s about an hour a day max. I will watch the news, I will make sure that I know what’s going on in the world and that’s putting my chip so there’s no Netflix, there’s no movies, there’s no TV shows, there’s none of that stuff because I like to focus my mind on what I want to create and the people that are most important to me as well.

So evaluate how much TV you’re actually watching and ask yourself if that time that you’re spending on your TV might not be better spend with something else, maybe a great workout, maybe cooking an amazing dish, maybe crafts, maybe a new hobby. It could be anything, but there might be some really great things you could do in your life to make your life so much better than watching TV. And the last habit I have for you is to go to bed early. My first habit was to wake up early and therefore our last habit is to be to go to bed early. My bedtime is around nine o’clock. This is when I’m in bed and Betty, I’m shutting everything up and turning down and I want to go to sleep. Going to bed early allows me to get up early the next day and be ready to go.

Going to bed early also allows you to get at least eight hours of sleep, which is really important for your health and mental focus and so much more.
