Most overwhelming business comes from you running a company in the most inefficient way, and it’s not your fault. I don’t blame you, right? So an entrepreneur, you are motivated, you’re ambitious, you’re a high achiever, and you want to do whatever it takes to grow your company.
But that’s also a mistake because that drives you to work more and more and more. And I know what that’s like. In the beginning of my career as an entrepreneur, I did whatever I could. I had this attitude of I’m going to make it happen. I’ll figure it out. Everything was figured out about which is true, what I wanted to do it all instead of doing things to smart way and my biggest problem was lacking focus. Instead of focusing on the right things and working efficiently, I was trying to do more and more and more, which is keep it all together and somehow grow my company. So it wasn’t really chaotic. It was overwhelming. And I got to the point where I had to ask myself, where is this going to go? I’m already working 12 1416 hours a day, and if I want to grow my business even more while having fulfillment and happiness and freedom, I need to change things.
So I did. So I began to study and analyze my company as well as the companies off my clients to find the key areas of growth that I want to share with you today. Now let’s talk about simple steps you can take right now and I’ve made it really, really easy for you. In fact, I have a phenomenal new resource for you. Welcome back. I’m assuming that now you have your score card in front of you and you see your scores. Four, congratulations. You’ve taken the first step really easy. Right now in this scorecard report you will see six areas of growth as well as your happiness score, which is so important because I want to help you become the happiest person in your business mind. Your business is there to give you joy, fulfillment, ease and freedom and all the things you want. So that’s in there as well. However, the six areas are where we want to focus to boost your overall happiness score. So your first lever is your best buyer and best product or service score, right? Your lever, your second lever or area is your front end score. That is your marketing and your lead generation. Your third area is your messaging score. That’s how sharp, precise and effective your marketing message is.
Next we have your transactional score, which is your pricing and your point of sale or your sales process. And then we also have your horizontal score. Number five, which is how well you were able to extend your customer value. And lastly, we have your key process and hiring score, which is all about how well you hire people, manage them, lead them, delegate your tasks and how well you use systems and automation to automate the tasks in your business. Now what I want you to do is look at your six areas and take out the two areas with the lowest scores. Okay? Become really aware which areas seem to be suffering and lacking the most, and those are the areas that I want you to focus on over the next 90 days. Step number three is really, really simple. Again, what I want you to do right now is look at those two areas that score the lowest on your scorecard and do a five minute brainstorm.
Sit down, get a piece of paper or a journal and ask yourself, why are these two areas low? How did you answer those questions? Right? What’s happening in these two key areas of your business that makes them score low? And then I want you to go into your report, look at these areas and follow the specific back commendations and instructions for those two areas. Because in the report I’ve already given you initial steps you can take to assess your business even more and give you even greater insight. Step number four is now above making the decision to act right because it’s all about actions, but it’s all about taking the simplest actions possible. So for each of your two areas, let’s start with area number one. I want you to think about three action items. Who can take one action item that you can do in the next 14 days?
One action item you can do in the next 30 days and one action item that you can do in the next 90 days, 1430 and 90 days or three action items and go to your second area and do the same thing. What can you do in 1430 and 90 days from experience? I can tell you that when you just take those small steps in the areas that score the lowest in your company, those steps have the potential to have a huge impact in your business and your business could grow by 2030 50% or even more without you working a lot more. Step number five is to now look at your six action items and figure out what their potential really is. Ask yourself, if I take all of these six steps, how much can my business potentially grow? Right? Maybe there is hard dollars attached to it.
Maybe you can figure out how much more revenue you can generate, how much more profitability you can, you know, create. Maybe it’s about saving money. Maybe it’s about creating time for you on your schedule. So there could be several improvements happening in money, profit, revenue, time back on your schedule, maybe even more fun, more happiness, more joy. It could be anything, but there is a hands on. It’s handable improvement happening in your business. And I want you to really look at the potential of these six action items so that you get excited about them, mine, so that you know what the payoff is going to be when you take these actions.
